What is “Dumo”?
Getting invited into a host’s home, alongside a small group of people we think you were meant to meet.
Where is it?
At your host’s home. You’ll get all the details before you confirm, so you’ll know it’s somewhere you’re comfortable.
How much does it cost?
Every host sets their own price. You’ll see it upfront before confirming.
Who’s hosting?
Previous guests who’ve experienced Dumo firsthand and love bringing people together.
What should I bring?
Just yourself! Unless you’d like to drink alcohol, in which case feel free to BYOB.
How many people will be there?
A small group of 5–8, not counting your host. Enough for good conversation, small enough that you actually get to know everyone.
How do I pay?
Once we match your group with a host, we’ll send you the host’s details. You’ll be able to confirm and pay there.
What happens if I decline the invite?
No worries! You’ll go back into the pool, and we’ll reach out again once we’ve found a new group we think you should know.
Can I cancel after I’ve confirmed?
Of course, life happens. Your host’s cancellation policy will be in your invite.
How do you match people?
Everyone who joins Dumo talks to a real human first. That conversation is how we figure out who we think you should know.
Is this for dating?
We love love! But this is not a dating service. Dumo is for forming genuine human connection. If that leads to friendship or romance outside of the host’s home, we’re all for it!
When will I hear back from you?
We’re not in business of putting butts in seats. As long as your account isn’t paused, we’re actively looking for your group.
What if I’m no longer interested?
No worries! Whether it’s temporary or permanent, you can either pause or delete your account when you log in to www.dumo.app.
